Matt Certa brings to D-Line more than 20 years of construction industry experience. A few years after starting as a laborer, Matt left craft work and accepted the challenges of leadership positions including: Purchasing Agent, Safety Manager, Estimator, Project Manager, and Director of Estimating.
As the Safety Manager for a large concrete contractor, Matt learned early in his career that the fundamentals of Activity Hazard Analysis, Pre-Task Planning, and effective communication are the most valuable tools in attaining a zero incident working environment.
As a Project Manager, Matt was fortunate to play an integral role in such marquee Bay Area projects as UCSF Mission Bay Campus, Mills Peninsula Hospital Replacement, California Academy of Sciences, and Stanford Graduate School of Business. His technical expertise includes the disciplines of concrete construction (structural and site), shotcrete, demolition, earthwork and paving.
Matt regularly participates in continuing education opportunities, and is specifically interested in the topics of Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery, Building Information Modeling, and Enterprise Risk Management. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C), First Aid & CPR trained, maintains a Class-A Commercial Drivers License, and is OSHA-30 certified. Matt attended San Jose State University and Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California.
Josue ”Tony“ Prada has been President since D-Line Constructors, Inc.’s inception. For the last 20 years, Tony has held a variety of positions throughout the construction industry, as well as financial advisory roles, both domestically and abroad.
Tony has experience working on public and private projects for both general and sub-contractors in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. He has been involved in estimating over $200 million in public works projects, and has managed more than $25 million in projects that include: airports, mass excavations, pump stations, buildings, pipelines, concrete structures, and demolition.
Tony has held financial advisory roles in Los Angeles, California and São Paulo, Brazil. He has also done turnaround consulting for distressed companies and extensive financial analysis for corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Tony holds an MBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and completed masters level coursework in the international program of management at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in marketing from the University of Phoenix and attended Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California.
