The purpose of the project was to enhance existing ponds and create new wetlands for the endangered tiger salamander. Scope of work included: excavation of ponds, installation of bentonite liner, levee construction, installation of pre-cast concrete structure and outlet, installation of pedestrian access bridge, 2000LF of cattle fencing and gates, and native planting and maintenance.
