The purpose of the project is to remove 8” of contaminated material from the existing salt ponds in Redwood City, CA. Work was done with excavators and tracked haul trucks. This site was very sensitive because it is part of the SF Bay. A clay membrane existed that was just below the 8” of material that was to be taken out that could not be pierced or disturbed. D-Line performed the work up to standards and did not disturb the clay membrane. Daily production was 75,000SF of material removed per day, for 4 months.
